—Re-Stripe—

I had gotten this inexpensive guitar awhile back. It was a gift from Dhgate I believe. It is not an original copy of anything. But none the less, after adding a few of my own tape lines. Wah Lah, now it’s got my own touch on it. I have tweaked a few things on this guitar. I’d like to say it’s way better but honestly, I’ve definitely spent more time playing the guitar than swapping out things or working on it. It could possibly be worse off than when I got this guitar. But I’ve learned how to just keep it in tune enough for how I’m playing this guitar. It’s totally different from my actual “5150” guitar. 2017 model. What an instrument!!! I’ve owned lots of nice high end guitars. And for me, the actual “5150” is by far my favorite. In every aspect possible. Back to the knockoff one. After all is said and done, it makes me play different. And for that I kinda like it’s weirdness. It’s really just for every day bashing thru songs. Having put my own few stripes made it look much different to me. There for it plays different. Truly I’d like to learn how to get better at setting up a guitar the way I prefer them. But for now I’ll wrestle with it just enough to be able to make it sing for me. Just Hone my memory of the neck I’ve even put little tiny stickers underneath each string. As I’m playing I’m now visually seeing all the notes every were all over the neck. I only put them them on the first 12 frets. From there I don’t need it any lower down the neck. It just repeats itself. There’s many ways to achieve the end result. That’s just my way.
