Hopefully this give ya more insight! The more you know the better! I know one thing, no matter what level your expertises is, there’s always room for growth or improvements!! I was teaching this kid who knew nothing about the guitar once. After he got to a point where he could kinda play what he heard in his head, he taught me one thing. He didn’t even know he was teaching me me something now. Once he could play what he heard in his head he threw all the rules out! It taught me if it’s coming from within then it’s rite!! He’s playing on his pure emotion and how he heard it in his head! Now the student was teaching the teacher. I’m not saying timing n theory aren’t important. They absolutely are! All I’m saying is everybody interprets music on a different level. Some are great at following all the guidelines and some of us wing it, play on pure emotion! In my opinion there both rite! Don’t forget all you professionals and advanced guitarist were once too a novice! I’m all for the inexperienced newbies! There the future of what we all Love. Music and playing our guitars! For now that’s it. Keep pickin’ it’s good for the soul!
